The useful information probably amounts to around ten pages, and is a pretty good intro to a minimal "Hello World" Angular web app, with explanations about what is needed with some hints about further capabilities.Otherwise, it needs editing and revision very badly. The author gives lots of needless explanations about technologies that anyone likely to be interested in Angular already knows, like MVC, AJAX, JSON, and website development history that has nothing to do with Angular. The benchmarks showing JavaScript vs. PHP are too tiny to read on a Kindle, and the webpage examples using Angular don't show up at all. The examples are somewhat readable, but poorly formatted.
I did get some useful information about Angular directives, custom HTML tags, controllers and databinding, so I'd say it was probably worth the $0.99 price, but unfortunately not a bargain.
